On a glorious inauguration day dominated by the fashion choices of Michelle Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Vermont senator Bernie Sanders’ decision to choose comfort over style has found its way to the centre of the Internet’s viral new meme fest.
It’s no wonder everyone’s looking for Bernie Sanders mittens, they look so great….and warm. On Wednesday, the senator was pictured attending President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ inauguration celebration, and he made a fashion statement without having to dress up.
The senator was bundled up in his usual brown coat, wore knitted mittens, and looked like he would have rather attending the event virtually. Mr. Sanders was dressed appropriately for Washington, D.C.’s cold weather, and a photograph of him looking unbothered as ever has become one of the first viral memes of the year.
Bernie Sanders Arrives In Westview!
His photo made it to various pop culture memes, but the best one was shared by WandaVision actor Paul Bettany on Twitter.
The image sees Mr. Sanders participating in the Westview talent show alongside Wanda and her husband Vision, who is drunk on some gum.

After accidentally swallowing gum, Vision’s gears experience severe discomfort and he pretty much ruins every act in their magic show, but Wanda saves the day.
Paul Bettany shared the image, writing “Good morning”.
A fan was quick to compete with Bettany’s meme-game, and shared their own where the senator was seen comfortably seated in Din Djarin’s Razor Crest. He did however, steal Grogu’s seat to join Mando on his adventures.

We doubt Mr. Sanders needs any saving, but it’s hilarious to see it!
WandaVision will be returning on Friday with a new episode, and the show’s official account shared another creepy Stark Industries commercial to promote it.
Whether WandaVision is taking place in Wanda Maximoff’s head or not is something fans hope to get clarity on in the future, since the first two episodes dropped subtle hints that their community of Westview might not be as black-and-white as it may seem.
This week’s episode of #WandaVision is brought to you by the ToastMate 2000, a Stark Industries Product.

The series cost Disney over $200 million to make and is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first glimpse into the world of their phase 4 content.
